Linda is a committed, open minded individual with a passion for organization. Her enthusiasm has allowed her to expand on these skills and focus on the Health & Safety of Gelderman employees and customers. She has witnessed the company grow from 20 to more than 100 employees over the past 20 years and the need for a solid Health & Safety Program to support the Companies growth.
Prior to joining Gelderman Landscape Services, Linda worked as a music instructor, dental assistant and book keeper. Once her children reached the age of self-dependence, she decided to rejoin the business world.
Linda’s career journey with Gelderman Landscape Services began back in 1997, when she applied for a part time position as an office assistant, one sunny Saturday afternoon. She doesn’t recall ever working part time, as she has been here 5 days a week, 12 months a year ever since.
Linda has received her designation as a Certified Human Resource Professional through the Human Resources Professional Association of Ontario and is currently co-chairman of the HR Roundtable through the Burlington Chamber of Commerce.
An important aspect of her life is her family. Her husband Tom and she are grateful for every moment they can spend together as a family, along with their six children, two grandchildren and three cats.
