Our Design & Build Process

Imagine creating the property of your dreams. With Gelderman, you can sit back and enjoy the process of getting your beautiful landscape designed and built. We have a well-established process, and it’s all about you:

1. Landscape Consultation

Do you have a vision for your property but don’t know where to begin? The landscape design specialists at Gelderman will work with you to turn your vision into a reality.

Once we know more about your landscape aspirations, we will arrange a consultation to determine your needs, objectives, and assess your property to discuss your landscape ideas.

2. Landscape Design

After the initial consultation, we will develop a few different concept designs and let you select the one that aligns with your vision. During this time, we will also discuss a rough budget to work within.

3. Landscape Quote

Once we have finalized a concept, we will select all the materials and develop a planting design together. The final design is developed in 3D CAD modelling to give you a detailed and highly-realistic idea of what the finished landscape will look like. At this point we will provide you with an estimate and, with your approval, we will schedule your project.

4. Landscape Build

At this stage of the process, your landscape design becomes a reality. We will take care of all the final details, relevant permits, and scheduling.

During the landscape build, you will be able to sit back and see your project unfold. As part of our Red Carpet Care, we will make sure to minimize any disruption as much as possible.

5. Regular Communication

Throughout the whole design and build process of your landscape project, we will be sure to maintain regular contact with you. Your project manager will communicate with you during the project about the milestones and will provide progress updates.

6. Final Inspection

Upon completion of your landscaping project, we will take a tour with you and identify the final items needing attention. Our process ensures we finish as scheduled, including the completion of the final items. As we wrap-up your project, we will review your final invoice and warranty details.
